Jolene Kolenosky (nee Topham)
February 19, 1982 – October 17, 2021
The family of Jolene Kolenosky (nee Topham), late of St. Louis, SK, sadly announce her passing on October 17, 2021.
Jolene was a little sister to Joey and Jillian, and a real Daddy’s girl! She was a true West Flat gal, attending Queen Mary School while forming lifelong friendships. She went on to graduate from Carlton. Her escort was her new baby son, Ty. A few years later, right before Halloween, Ein made his appearance. I thought Jolene’s family was complete and had my grandsons’ names tattooed on my leg! However, Jolene took a different path in life and along came Calii and Jessa, and 2 more tattoos.
Jolene’s passions flared up during this time. Living in a small town and having a huge yard and garden brought Jolene great joy. Pickling, freezing and her flowers kept her busy from dawn until dusk. Her shoes came off in May and never went back on until October. Jolene loved every holiday, especially Christmas and birthdays! Her home was the gathering place for family and friends. Jolene cooked and fed anyone, including random cats!!! Of course, she was always up for the summer camping trips to Wakaw and Candle Lake. A few years later, we went on a family trip to Jamaica. This was followed by a trip to Cuba for her brother’s wedding. At this time, Jolene became passionate about the Caribbean. She was determined to return to celebrate her 40th birthday. Jolene will now be riding the waves as an Angel!!!
Jolene began another chapter in her life in another small town. Although brief, she loved and doted on a young gal, Eisha, whom she considered her stepdaughter. Included in this new role was a stepson, Josh. Jolene’s life was complete and very busy! Jolene somehow managed it all and was considering returning to the work force. The last family gathering was my surprise birthday party, when everyone gathered at the Little Red. It was a beautiful day; one that I will forever cherish in my heart.
Jolene loved her family and friends (Kristen and Steven), to the moon and back. Jolene fought hard to stay here. Now she will continue her guidance from the Spirit World. I brought this amazing and loving child into this world, and I was with her when she left!
Thank you to everyone for their kind messages, hugs, flowers, food and GoFundMe donations. A special thank you to Steven and Kristin. You guys were an immense help planning the service. Steven, the eulogy was beautiful, as well as the song “Jolene.” Kristen, you and Steven helped to bring Jolene’s beauty and personality to light! Thank You to Reverend Nora Vedress for the beautiful Service. Thank You to Tracy-Lynn and Beau “Lac” Funeral Home, for your kindness and compassion that you gave to Jolene and family. May God Bless you all! May God Bless your freedom!
Jolene will be lovingly remembered by: her mother, Cheryl Moberly (Topham); her father, Gene Topham; her sons, Ty James Joseph and Ein Christopher and their father, Bobby Reichenberg; her daughters, Calii Jacqueline Marie and Jessa Lillian Louise and their father, Jason Kolenosky; her loving partner, Chad McDougall and his children, Josh Devan & Eisha Gail; her siblings, Joey Topham (Jill, Mason, Kabry, Kyrin) and Jillian Topham (Reece); her aunts and uncles, Donna Lee Sand, Pete Nabe, Randy Nabe, Donna Lee, and Joseph Topham; her cousins, Rachelle, Paris, Vanessa, Matthew and Julie; her soul tribe, Steven Swain, Dustin Reed and Kristen Wolffe (Nevaeh, Hunter, Willow & Aspen); as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
