John "Jack" Corrigal

John “Jack” Corrigal was born in Prince Albert, SK on March 17, 1937 to Clifford Corrigal and Mildred (nee Callaghan) Corrigal. He passed away on October 6, 2019 at his home with his family by his side.
Jack lived in Prince Albert his entire life. He worked at McGavins Bakery as a baker and a truck driver until his retirement. After his retirement he lived life on his own terms. Visitors were always welcome to come for a beer although it was preferred if they brought their own.
He was very proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He would often call them with an excuse why they needed to come over.
Jack is survived by his daughter, Debbie (Roy) Parenteau; grandchildren, Jeffery, Kristin (Mitch) Grewcock and their children Jake and Olivia, Melissa (Daryl) McNay and their children Emmet and Alexander; brother, Wilfred “Bill” Corrigal; sister, Fern Smart; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Clifford and Mildred; sisters, Margaret and June; brothers, Jim and Tom.
A Graveside Service for Jack will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at South Hill Cemetery in Prince Albert with Janet Sinclair as officiant. Donations in Jack’s memory may be made to The Lung Association, Saskatchewan – 1231 8th Street East, Saskatoon, SK S7H 0S5.
