John Franc
1931 – 2013

The family of John Franc is deeply saddened to announce his passing on June 1, 2013, at the age of 81 years. John is survived by his loving wife, Anne, of 57 years; son Brian (Tish) and their daughter, Olivia; daughter Carol (Jeff) Naslund and their sons, Ryan, Ty, and Devin; sister-in-law, Myrna Franc; numerous nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Rose Franc; brothers, Bert and Stanley; sisters, Mary and Sally. John was born in Krydor, SK and soon after moved with his family to Davis. In 1955, John and Anne were married, and they moved to Prince Albert. John was well known in the Prince Albert area for the auto body work he did during his thirty-five year career. Dad loved the outdoors and he enjoyed a lifetime of fishing, golfing, boating, berry picking, and camping. His greatest joys were his grandchildren, Ryan, Olivia, Ty, and Devin. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Pastor Dennis Serfas, Director Spiritual Care, Prince Albert Parkland Health District officiating. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Victoria Hospital Foundation, 1200 – 24th Street, West, Prince Albert, SK S6V 5T4.
