It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of John “Cisco” Christopherson, surrounded by his family and the gentle, loving caregivers at Rose Garden Hospice on January 3, 2025, at the age of 91 years.   John leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife, Donna (nee Becker); his son, Jody (Rhonda) Christopherson; his granddaughter, Jessica (Nelson) Bittley; his grandson, Chad (Cassandra) Christopherson; his twin great-grandsons, Everland and Hunter; his sister, Winnie; as well as many dear and special friends.  He was predeceased by his parents, Joe and Elizabeth Christopherson; his son, Michael Christopherson; and his sister, Charlotte Gardner.

John’s first job was working for his father as an elevator agent.  In 1958 he joined the Prince Albert Police Force where he worked for 34 years.  Retirement allowed John to enjoy golf and fishing in the summer, and time at the cabin at Candle Lake.  In the winter he could be found curling, snowmobiling, hunting and most especially having morning coffee with friends.  One of John’s favorite pastimes was going to auction sales where he was sure to find a box of treasures for just a dollar!
