John Armand Roy passed away at his home in Prince Albert on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory, his children; Jodie (Clay) Tiegen, Burton (Jessica) Roy and Teage (Rachael) Roy; his 11 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren; his brothers, Robert (Vikky) Roy, Fred (Debbie) Roy, Rupert (Doreen) Roy, Philip (Antonio Arribas) Roy; his sisters, Lucille Georget, Lily (Jack) Melynk, Roseanne (Andre) Denis and Muriel (Claudette) Roy. As well as several nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.

John was predeceased by; his parents, Roger & Florence (Gareau) Roy; his son, Colin Roy; his brothers, George Roy, Roger Victor Roy & Roger Alfred Roy; his sister-in-law, Evelyn Roy; his brother-in-law Alex Georget.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Fr. Travis Myrheim as Celebrant. Cremation will follow with a private family Interment at the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Cemetery, Domremy, Saskatchewan. Donations in memory of John may be addressed to any charity of personal choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Marc Blondeau, Kushneryk Funeral Service, Wakaw, SK, 1-306-233-4403.
