Joey is survived by his loving family, his mother, Peggy (Patricia) McKenzie; his father, Myles Joseph Bird; his brothers & sisters, Derek Charles, Alice Charles, Calvin Charles, Logan Charles, Nadine McKenzie, Darryl McKenzie, Melissa Bird, Jaden; his grandmother, Jemima Charles; his uncles & aunts, Charles Charles, Marty Charles (Calvin, Catheryn, Suzie, Alfie), Sask Charles (Carmen, Sharmaine, Sky), Peter Alvin Bird, Jimmy M. Roberts, Sampson A. Roberts, Micheal Bird and family, Marsha Bird, Julia Roberts (Tanya Sanderson, Trisha Roberts, Curtis Roberts), Tina S.H. Roberts, Tanya J. Roberts, Allison Isbister; his great-aunt, Flora (Thomas) Olsen; his godparents, Rene Bird and Edna Mirasty; his boyfriend, Justin Edward Guyette; and many more family and friends that knew and loved him. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Arthur Gilbert Bird; his grandmother, Adaline (nee Natomagan) Bird; his great-grandmother, Jeannie Mary Bird (nee Morin); his brother, Shawn Charles; his sister, Olivia Charles. The Wake Service for Joey will be held at 5:00 p.m., on Monday, January 6, 2020, at Kitsaki Hall, in La Ronge, SK; the Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at All Saints Anglican Church, in La Ronge, SK, Edna Mirasty and Tom Sanderson officiating.
