Joe Rondeau

Lucien “Joe” Rondeau, late of Prince Albert, SK passed away peacefully at his home, with his wife Donna and son, Chad, at his side on November 14, 2015 at the age of 74 years. Joe was born on December 8, 1940 in Hearst, Ontario to Angela & Wilfred Rondeau. He joined the Black Watch and served overseas during the Cold War. When he returned to Canada, he found that painting was a job he loved, and that is what he did until one week before he passed away. He loved motorcycling and joking with people – anytime and anywhere! He will be greatly missed for this. Joe will be lovingly remembered by his wife: Donna Rondeau, his children: Chad (Melissa Struhar) Rondeau, Peggy O’Dell, Kim Bauer, Brandy (Ryan) Engele, and James (LoraLee) Polowski; his grandchildren: Dawson, Asher, Cassidy, Hudson, Presley, Rachel and Justine; his great-grandchildren: Preston and Kai; his sister: Lizette (Dennis) Johansson; his sister-in-law: Joan Rondeau; his brother-in-law: J. Romaine; his nephews: Dion, David and Justin Rondeau; his nieces: Claudette Johnstone, Rachelle Dickie, Sarah and Abby; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Joe was predeceased by his son: Jeff Rondeau; his mother Angela Marie (nee Trudell) Rondeau; his father: Wilfred Rondeau; his brother: Albert Rondeau; his sister: Lucy Romaine; and his nephews: Bert and Troy Rondeau. A Funeral Service for Joe will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 – 1:30 pm, MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, 130 9th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Pastor Rick Martin officiating.
