May 20, 1968 – February 12, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jodi, she passed away peacefully  after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jodi was born on May 20, 1968, in Prince Albert, SK.  She spent her summers at Waskesiu National Park with her family.  Jodi had a very close relationship with her parents and was especially proud of her dad’s career in the NHL.  She was an animal activist and loved her pets Ren and Geno.

Jodi is survived by her partner of 23 years, Merlin Morin; mother-in-law, Florence Morin; sister-in-law, Lisa Morin (Bill Parent); numerous close friends.

Jodi is predeceased by her parents, Dave and Gwen Balon; grandparents, Gladys and Gordon Gillies.

There will be a Public Come and Go Visitation on Friday, February 17, 2023, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., at Beau “Lac” Funeral Home Chapel, 300B 300 Marquis Road, Prince Albert, SK.
