It’s with great sadness we announce the passing of Jimmy Mercredi, late of Prince Albert, SK formerly of Fond Du Lac, SK at the age of 59 years.  Jimmy Mercredi was born in Uranium City, SK on November 15^th, 1961, and passed away in Saskatoon, SK on August 30^th, 2021.  Jimmy will be lovingly remembered by his partner Miriam; his children Johnathon & Hailey; his stepson Austin; his granddaughter Nevaya; his siblings Nancy (Sylvester), Donald (Marie), Dorothy, Lucy & Doris; his sister-in-law Elsie; his nieces & nephews Erna (Kevin), Myrna (Patrick), Carey, Sandra, Rhonda, Shantele, Joseph, Jonelle, Shelley, Laura, Chantelle, Lloyd, Cheyenne, Aaron, Yannik, Narada, Cheyenne, Don Jr., Michelle, Dillon, Maureen, Dale, Dion, Andrea, Leon & John; his great nieces & nephews Keifer, Kylie, Pat Jr., Kiana, Kailey, Kaydence, Zayda, Zaiden, Kingston, Landon, Riley, Jacelyn, Silas, Blake, Tehya, Talla, Brylee, Kierra, Emerson, Emerly, Zavier, Zavanna, Deneyu, Venelope, Malcolm, Destiny, Brianna, Raiden, Khloe, & Autarious; his great-great nieces & nephews Kayde, Kaizen, Drydal, Dryanna, Hazel, & Dayson; his aunts & uncles Pierre, Theresa (Mervin), Margaret (Rodrick), Frank, Jules (Doris), Rosie (Victor), Honerine, Helen (Willie John) Laurent, & Alfred; his friends Don, Alex, Buddy, Mark, Cowboy, Valerie, Monica, Val, Edwin, Dion, Brian, James, Steven, Clifford, Jane, Tina, Janet, Clara, Cecila, Ann, Jason as well as all his friends from far and wide.  He had so many friends, we can’t name them all.  Jimmy was predeceased by his parents Leon (Judith) Mercredi; his grandparents Fred (Sarah) Mercredi, & John (Madeline) Lidguerre; his siblings Napoleon, John, Ernie, Joyce, Jerry, George, Leon Jr., & Mary; his nephew Ernie Jr.; his aunts & uncles August (Elsie) Lidguerre, Eleanor (Clement) Pische, Pauline Naldzil, Martha Lidguerre, Lena (Leon) Fern, Rosanne (Noel) Noey, Agnes (August) Mercredi, Laurent (Madeline) Mercredi, Louie (Catherine) Mercredi, & Thomas Lidguerre; his brothers-in-law Gerry Adam & Lawrence Bruno; as well as numerous cousins.  A Visitation Service will be held on Friday, September 3^rd, 2021, at 2 PM at MacKenzie Chapel in Prince Albert, SK.  A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 4^th, 2021, at 10 AM at St. Joseph’s Church located at 260 25^th Street East, Prince Albert, SK.  The Officiant will be Rev. Fr.
