March 27, 1953 ~ April 2, 2020
It is with great sadness that the family of James White announce his passing on April 2, 2020 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 67 years.
Jim was born on March 27, 1953 in Chilliwack, BC to Harry and Lenna White. He resided in Prince Albert, SK for 39 years. He married Milly White in 1980. Jim graduated high school and university year one at Kingsway College in Ontario and worked for many years in nursing. He cared for his patients with loving, quiet and calm devotion. He worked as a delivery driver for restaurants and later worked and retired from the Prince Albert Daily Herald circulation department.
Jim enjoyed hockey and baseball. His favourite teams were the Chicago Blackhawks and the Toronto Blue Jay’s. He loved nature and bird watching as well as helping injured birds and small animals like squirrels etc. Jim was a big fan of music by Gordon Lightfoot and John Denver.
Jim will be lovingly remembered by his wife Milly; daughter Lindsay (Joel) Rinas and their children Corban and Leo; son Joshua White and his daughter Casey Lynn; oldest grandson Xavier; sisters Myrna (Garry) Gallant and Linda Leif (King); brother Ronald (Holline) White; as well as many other friends and family members.
Jim was predeceased by his parents Harry and Lenna White.
Memorial Service will be held and announced at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, (306) 922-4729.
