Jesse Joseph Merasty was born on Tuesday, September 18, 2001 in Flin Flon, MB and passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017 in Pelican Narrows, SK at the age of 15 years. Jesse is survived by his loving family, his mother, Joanna Linklater; his step-father, Richard Custer; his brother, Ravis Linklater; his half-brothers, Delbert Custer, Keiston Custer and Colton Ballantyne; his sisters, Simone and Davina Linklater; his half-sister, Denise Ballantyne; his grandparents, John and Marlene Merasty; his grandfather, Simon Linklater; his grandmother, Beatrice Linklater; his chapans, Angelique Merasty, Madeline Linklater and Suzette Ratt; his uncles, Buckley (Felicia) Linklater, Lawrence (Ronalda) Linklater, JJ (Haralda) Merasty, Georgie Ballantyne and Ronald Custer; and his aunties, Serena (Donald) Linklater, Andrea (Rocky) Merasty, Cheryl (Richard) Brass, Carla, Tessa and Lacey Linklater, Lynn Merasty, Heather Custer, Beatrice Merasty, Hazel Custer, Sheryl (Robert) Beatty; as well as numerous other relatives. He was predeceased by his daddy, Joseph Jamie Merasty; his chapans, Angus Merasty, David (Mary Ann (nee Bear)) Merasty, Philip Ratt and George Linklater; and his cousins, Zack Merasty, Zary Merasty, Richard Kelvin Brass, Wilfred Canada and Aveah Linklater-Cook. A prayer service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at River Park Memorial Chapel in Prince Albert, SK, Margaret Ferchuk officiating. Jesse’s funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at St. Bartholomew Anglican Church. Interment to follow at Sandy Narrows, SK. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of River Park Funeral Home in Prince Albert, SK, Paula Hanson, Funeral Director.
