Jerome Cloarec. Jerome Cloarec age 86 passed away November 27, 2010. Jerome is survived by his wife of 60 years Geneva (nee Hilcosky); his four children Ted (Holly), Tom (Brenda), Rick (Karen) and Colin (Denise); his nine grandchildren Scott (Cassy), Marlene, Rachelle, Quinton, Christy (Gavin Jutras), Mandy, Cole, Ben and Lyndsay and his five great grandchildren Celina, Daniel, Benjamin, Odin and Declan. Dad was born November 27, 1924 in Prince Albert, SK. He married Geneva Hilcosky in 1950 and resided in Spruce Home until his passing. In 1989 Dad retired from farming but did not stop working on the farm, you could always catch mom and dad working in the garden. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, chopping wood and bird watching (and watch out if any squirrels came around), he was a devoted Blue Jays fan. In his younger years he played baseball with the White Star Tigers, he was one of the founders of the Trail Riders Arena, Spruce Home Seniors Club and a Charter Member of the former Highway 355 Lions. When his children were young he spent many hours hauling horses and cattle to 4H events. He curled with his family in the Rural Curling league. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends for his gentleness, kindness and thoughtfulness. A Private Family Service will be held. Interment will be held at a later date. It is the family's request that those wishing to place memorial donations in lieu of other tributes, may do so the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 – 3rd Avenue N, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8.
