Jemima Ida Ratt (nee Ross) was born on Wednesday, November 7, 1923 in Little Hills, SK and passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017 in Rosthern, SK at the age of 94 years. Jemima is survived by her loving family: her children, Vicky Viney of Prince Albert, SK, Thomas Ratt (Maria) of Hall Lake, SK, Bella Gale (Bill) of Napatak, SK, Isaac Ratte (Nora) of Wakaw, SK, Emil Ratt of La Ronge, SK, Mary Eninew (Isiah) of La Ronge, SK and Shirley Natomagan of La Ronge, SK; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; her special great-grandson, Kody Layton of Wakaw, SK; and her brother, Albert Ross. She was predeceased by the father of her children, John P. Roberts; her parents, Matilda and James Ross; her sisters, Betsy Ratt, Victoria Ratt, Sheila Sanderson and Mary M. McKenzie; numerous grandchildren and other relatives; and her special friends, John Halkett and Polly Halkett. A wake service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Kitsaki Hall in La Ronge, SK. Jemima’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Kitsaki Hall in La Ronge, SK, Tom Sanderson and Edna Mirasty officiating. Interment to follow at La Ronge Anglican Church Cemetery.
