Jeffery Denis Smith passed on July 16, 2026, following a lengthy illness, with his family at his side.

Jeffery will be remembered by his wife, Carol; his three sons, Kyle (Nikki), Chris (Brooke), and Derek Smith; grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan, Noel, Callista, Skyler, Tyson (Emily), Ryan, and Zachary; and his great-grandchildren Alystar, and Braxton.

He will also be remembered by his siblings, Phylis LeComte, Ray (Jolene) Smith, Franklin (Marlene) Smith, Diane Stangby, Ben (Debra) Smith, Monique (Terry) Pugh, and Gayle (Jean) Smith, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeffery was predeceased by his parents, Theophile and Lillian Smith; siblings, Evelyn (Marius) Piche, Ovila (Ruth) Smith, Mary (Lou) Gagnon, Marie (Fred) Markowski, Anita (Frank) Teichrob, and Darrel (Sally) Smith; and brothers-in-law, Julien LeComte, and Allen Stangby.
