Jean Warring

Jean Warring was born on a farm near Kinistino, SK on May 19, 1940. She passed away suddenly on April 5, 2014 at the age of 73 years.
Jean liked planting flowers in the spring and spent most of the summer on her deck enjoying the birds, flowers, and squirrels. She took great pride in her Plum tree, checking it often to see how many plums she would get. She had a lot of fun keeping up with her family and friends on her Ipad, as well as playing a few games of on-line Bingo each night.
Jean is survived by her two daughters Roxanne Jahner of Melfort, SK and Colleen (Murray) Chalmers of Sherwood Park, AB, grandchildren Raelee (Jon) Witting, Riley Jahner, Chad Chalmers, Dustin Chalmers; great grandchildren Hunter, Payten and Piper; mother-in-law Florence Warring, brother Lyle (Sharon) Hagen, and sister Norma (Harry) Wesnoski as well numerous nieces and nephews.
Jean was predeceased by her husband of 46 years George Warring; her parents Trygve and Agnes Hagen, grandson Tyler Chalmers, brothers Voyd Hagen, Rubin Hagen, sisters Ruth Jordan and Edna Patrick.
A Memorial Service for Jean was held from the Fedusiak Funeral Chapel, Melfort, on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Dave MacPherson officiating. The interment followed in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. The eulogy was given by Tanya Anderson.
