It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jean Gloria Richard, late of Mistawasis, SK on April 26^th, 2023, at the age of 76 years. Jean was born in Mistawasis, SK on February 2^nd, 1947, to Laura Bird & Antoine Sand. Jean will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 49 years Rene Richard; her children Dwight, Lori (Jason), Dawn, Tina (Chris), & Kelly (Lenelle J); her grandchildren; her great-grandchildren; as well as numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, & relatives. Jean was predeceased by her parents Laura (James) Bird & Antoine Sand; her in-laws Louis (Alexandrine) Richard; her lifelong friend Rose Pechawis; as well as numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, grandparents, & great-grandparents. A Wake Service will be commencing April 28^th, 2023, at the Mistawasis Nehiyawak School Gym in Mistawasis, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 29^th, 2023, at 2 PM at Mistawasis Nehiyawak School Gym in Mistawasis, SK. The Interment will take place at Mistawasis Presbyterian Cemetery in Mistawasis, SK. The Officiant will be Stewart Folster. The Honourary Pallbearers are numerous brothers & sisters in the Lord and all those who shared in Jean’s life. The Pallbearers are Danny Riley, Ivan Sand, David Riley, Christian Johnstone, Mike Riley, Antonio Bird, Robbie Bird, & Gibs Bird.
