It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean B. Clyde on June 9, 2016, at the age of 98. Born in Neepawa Manitoba and raised in Pleasantdale Saskatchewan, Jean enjoyed a long and outstanding career as a home economics teacher at P.A.C.I. and touched the lives of many, many students over the years. She gained great personal satisfaction by giving back to the community through volunteer work, and enjoyed a long history of active participation with Wesley United Church. Jean was predeceased by her parents Flossie and Roy Clyde and her younger sister Lula (Lu) Clyde of Winnipeg. Special thanks to the administrative and nursing staff at The Good Shepherd Villas who cared for Jean during the final few years she was with us. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th St. West, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Tony Thompson officiating. Her remains will be interred in her family plot in Neepawa at a later date. In memory of Jean, donations to Wesley United Church, 65 – 11th Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 0Z8 would be appreciated. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
