It is with heavy hearts and sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Jaylynn Elizabeth Heffernan on April 21, 2026, at the age of 22, in Saskatoon, SK. Jaylynn will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Andy and Chantal Heffernan; brothers, Ashton, Gabriel, and Aiden; grandparents, Tony and Louise Gareau and Margaret Heffernan; aunts and uncles, Ryan Heffernan, Clay (Cyrie) Heffernan, Roxanne (Trevor) Stevenson; Dean (Melissa) Gareau, and Martin Gareau, and too many other family members to name.
Jaylynn was born in Prince Albert, SK, on March 2, 2004. She attended Holy Cross School from kindergarten to grade 8 and loved French and continued her French education at Ecole St. Mary where she graduated in 2022 with Distinction. She played basketball and was in the high school choir for 4 years. She worked for the Co-op Grocery store for 5 years. She attended Saskpolytech while working and was on her way to become a Continuing Care Aid. She was in clinical training at the Herb Basset Care Home.

Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday May 8, 2026. The Funeral will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday May 9, 2026. Both services will be held at St. Joseph Parish, 260 25 St E, Prince Albert, SK. Following the Funeral, a time of refreshments and fellowship will be held at Carlton Park Hall, 3100 Dunn Dr, Prince Albert, SK. Interment will follow at Winton Cemetery. The family invites all who knew and loved Jaylynn to join them in celebrating her life from 6:00 p.m. to midnight on Saturday May 9, 2026, at Carlton Park Hall, 3100 Dunn Dr, Prince Albert, SK
