June 19, 1975 – October 5, 2012
It is with great sadness we announce the tragic passing of Jason Walter Ambrosichuk of Prince Albert, SK on October 5, 2012. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Lauralee Ambrosichuk; his three children Mackenzie, Karter and Bentley Ambrosichuk; his parents Walter and Stella Ambrosichuk of Prince Albert, SK; his Baba Phoebe Butler of Birch Hills, SK; his in-laws Brian and Carol Foot of Prince Albert, SK; his sister-in-law Liana (Jordan) Amendt & their children Kylie & Brenden all of Edmonton, AB; his sister-in-law Brittany Foot of Saskatoon, SK and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jason was born on June 19, 1975 in Halifax, NS. He moved to Saskatoon in 1980, where he grew up. Jason loved sports as a child and this continued into his adult life where he coached soccer, Celtics and hockey. He met and married the love of his life, Lauralee in 1999 and together they raised three beautiful children Mackenzie, Karter and Bentley. Jason was a correctional manager at the Federal Penitentiary in Prince Albert, for almost 13 years. His love and passion for life was evident in everything he did. Jason was a very caring man that always put his family first. He was an amazing father that was so proud of his children. A Celebration of Jason’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Alfred Jenkins Soccer Centre, 2787 – 10th Avenue West, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Val Bodnaryk. A memorial trust fund has been set up for Jason’s children c/o Lauralee Ambrosichuk. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, Marianne Turcotte, Funeral Director.
