JANITOR/MAINTENANCE

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction and supervision of the Executive Assistant the Janitor will maintain the Health Center in a clean, hygienic and presentable condition at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge & experience of cleaning supplies and methods
- Be in good physical condition, be able to lift heavy supplies and equipment.
- Must be able to work independently
- Knowledge & experience of operation of cleaning equipment ie: shampooers, floor waxing machines, vacuums etc…
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid drivers’ license.
- Maintenance experience in general
POSITION DUTIES
- Regular cleaning ie; sweep & wash floors, vacuum carpets and clean all offices
- Monthly cleaning tasks
- Annual major cleaning of building
- Monitor/maintenance of heating and furnaces supplies and equipment
- Maintenance of building and yard and equipment
- Security of building makes sure all windows & doors are locked and alarm is on
- Other related duties as directed by the Director of Health
