Janette Delores Cummings (née Umpherville) was born on January 27, 1967, in Prince Albert, SK, and passed away on February 29, 2024, in Buffalo Narrows, SK, at the age of 57 years.

Janette will be forever remembered by her children, Shantelle Umpherville, Stephanie (Aaron) Pederson, Samantha (Sheldon McCallum) Cummings, Sam Jr. Cummings, Darcy Cummings; her bonus children, Jessica (Tyson) Pedersen, Rachelle Pedersen; her grandchildren, Shealee (Daylen Herman) Dillon, Brayden Dillon, Emmalee Umpherville, Rhylee Umpherville, Taylee Umpherville, Brody McCallum; her devoted mother, Lillian Umpherville (née Deschambeault); her partner of over 30 years, Sam Cummings; her sisters, Doreen (Mike) Sander, Catherine (Carl) Miller, Sandra (Ken Ford) Bruneau, Tammy (Grant Riley) Umpherville, Eleanor (Glen Morrissette) Umpherville, Jean (John) Sutherland; her brothers, Frank (Debbie Stavely) Umpherville, Merle Umpherville, Roderick Umpherville; her mother-in-law, Emily Cummings (Charles); her brothers and sisters-in-law, Marlene (Alf) Nicholls, Ross (Brenda) Cummings, Mike Cummings, Laura (Frank) Durocher, Leon Cummings, Carlene (Kevin) Chapman, Rick Cummings; her numerous nieces, nephews, and all those she held dearly to her heart.

She was predeceased by her father, Ingram Umpherville; her sister, Debbie Roberts; her infant brother, Earl Umpherville; her father-in-law, Marius Cummings; her grandparents, Henry & Catherine Umpherville, John & Laura Deschambeault; her special nephew, Boden Umpherville.

The Wake Services for Janette will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024, and Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the Buffalo Narrows Friendship Center; continuing at 4:00 p.m., on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at the East Hill Hall, in Prince Albert, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Monday, March 4, 2024, at the East Hill Hall, in Prince Albert, SK, with Margaret Ferchuk officiating. Interment to follow at South Hill Cemetery.
