In Memory of Janetta Beth Bird (Netta)
August 18th, 1995- March 26th, 2020
24 Years of Age
“…Absent from the body, and present with the Lord….” 2 Corinthians 5:8
Janetta was the only daughter of Clifford and Liza Bird and younger sister to Tyrone Bird.
Janetta left behind to mourn for her, her family, Niece Saveah Kasheep, Nephews, Liam Kasheep, Jaxon Kasheep,
Tanner Beatty, Theo and Koda Nipshank, and many dear friends. Her special uncle, Lionel and Janet Bird.
Her loyalty was a trait that many experienced and her unconditional love remains alive in each of our hearts.
Her dear friends include:
Bob Natomagan, Abel Ross, Tylee Hewison, Chasity McDonald, Nathan Ballantyne,
Chalandria Naytowhow, Nadia Naytowhow, Tannis Naytowhow, Amber Naytowhow, Amber Lavallee, Kayla Lavalle, Cassie Lavallee, Donovan CharlesGenine Bird, Latoya Morin and Taryn McDonald.
Her sisters in heart (Best Friends) : Kate-lynn Hardlotte, Olivia Harper, Keisha Henderson and Chrissy Harper.
Janetta was born in Prince Albert and spent much of her childhood years in Montreal Lake.
She attended Vincent Massey School, John Diefenbaker School, in Prince Albert and graduated from
Carlton Comprehensive High School with Honors.
She was accepted into Trinity Western University in British Columbia right after her graduation with the hope
of attending to attain training in Music Education. Janetta was loyal to her friends and waited to attend at
a later date in pursuit of Music Therapy.
Her passions included, playing guitar, recording original music, making her friends laugh,
engaging in deep discussions and taking long road trips. One of her favorite places to travel to was
Santa Monica, California.
Janetta was employed as an E.A. and worked with many students who
required specialized one on one attention. One of her students, Abel Ross, is set to
graduate from grade 12 this school term. She would be so proud of him.
Often times Janetta would play her guitar for her students and would play
music in the staff room or office during her breaks.
Janetta will always be remembered for her sense of humor and desire to give her best to
all her friends and family.
