The Umpherville family is sad to announce the passing of Jamie Walter Umpherville in Regina, SK. Words cannot begin to express our sorrows.

Today is the beginning of a difficult journey of saying goodbye to our loved one. Jamie was born and raised in Prince Albert, SK. He was born on September 24, 1976 at Holy Family Hospital to his mother Myra Mae Umpherville and father Petro Marinus Reynders. He was lovingly raised by his mothers, Myra Mae Umpherville and Bonnie Elaine Delorme. He attended Queen Mary School and later Riverside.

Jamie was a happy kid, he could be found playing with the kids outside, doing crazy tricks on his BMX, building forts, or sliding down the Vic Hospital on his GT.

Jamie was a compassionate, loving, kind-hearted, and generous person. He never failed to lend a helping hand to any one who needed it, and would give anything he had if asked. Jamie had a true love that turned into a real-life dream. When he was young he dated a girl named Laura. Again, when they were young adults they met. Finally being together in adulthood.

Jamie and Laura were joined as husband and wife on September 24, 2015. Laura gave Jamie the greatest gift of his life in 2017 when they had twins. Two boys born on March 4, 2017, Zayne Walter Umpherville and Sunny Lee Umpherville. His children were the loves of his life. He loved them both very much.

Jamie faced many hardships in his life, but he was a man of great character and had the strength to overcome anything, and still be the good soul that he was.

Jamie was predeceased by his grandparents, Walter Umpherville and Verna Stella Fourre; his mother, Myra Mae Umpherville; his father, Petro Marinus Reynders; his niece, Rae Dawn Shannon; his grandparents, Marinus & Petronella Reynders; His family, Hank & Paulette Umpherville, Donalda Umpherville, and Dwayne Umpherville.

The funeral service for Jamie will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Margaret Ferchuk officiating.
