James Patrick "Jim" Doyle

Jim was born May 24th, 1940 in Vermillion, Alberta. He was raised on the family farm. Jim received his education in Clandonald and after finishing Grade 12, he attended Reeves Business College and received a Business Certificate. He worked for Tom Johns Ltd., until he acquired his own Insurance and Travel Business in Melfort in 1967. He retired in 2000. Jim was a long time Jaycee and Rotarian which he was very proud to be a part of.
Jim loved to travel, was a practical joker, and would play a joke on anyone he could. He also loved to play cards, especially Smear. He passed his love of cards to his children and grandchildren. Jim spent his spare time at the lake at St. Brieux since 1982 and retired there in 2000.
Left to mourn his passing, wife Ann of 47 years; his 4 children Barb Beck, Reese, Tonisha & Nigel; Pat (Michelle), Brett, Matthew & Emma; Susan Timmerman (Kelly), Kyla & Ryan; Tania Doyle (Kirk Price), Carter, Kieran, Jordan; his sisters Kathy Noyes and Agnes Roberge; in-laws Reg & Carol Bevan, Dick & Betty Bevan, Barry & Terry Bevan and their families, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Jim was predeceased by his parents Patrick & Bridget, brothers Francis, and Alphonse; sisters Maureen German and Magdelaine Martin.
Jim was a wonderful Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Uncle and Friend who will be missed.
