James “Jim” A. McClurg

Jim McClurg passed away on June 18, 2012 at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK after a battle with cancer at the age of 64. He graduated from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Manitoba in 1972. Jim grew up in Swan River, MB, lived and worked as a Chartered Accountant in Brandon, MB and Saskatoon, SK and was the proud owner of Northland Trucks in Prince Albert for many years. Jim was a devoted father and husband who is survived by his loving wife Billie; son Scott (Michele) and children Kelsey & Regan; daughter Tracy (Jason); brothers Grayden (Cheryl), John and Lewis (Bernie); sisters Fran (George), Anne (Lyle) and Helen; sisters-in-law Erva (Roman) and Barb; as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was predeceased by his parents Robert “Bud” and Bern McClurg and his father and mother in-law Bill and Anne Nykiforuk. He will be dearly missed by many, many friends and family. Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 22, 2012. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2012. Both services will be held at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 260 – 25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Reverend Father D.J. Vu. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Saskatoon Cancer Centre, 20 Campus Drive, Saskatoon, SK S7N 4H4. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
