Dear Friends,
I was the youngest of twins by 52 minutes. My older brother, Don, was anxiously waiting my arrival on September 8, 1947. As I grew to adulthood I travelled the Prairie Provinces from Manitoba to beautiful northern B.C. I was first employed by the Department of Natural Resources of Saskatchewan, the nickel mine of I.N.C.O in Thompson, Manitoba and then on to Calgary, AB working in home construction. The beauty of B.C. drew me to McKenzie, Vancouver and Kitimat. I returned home to dabble in maintenance and to spend time with family and friends.
My life has been enriched by my friendships that have endured over twenty years. Upon becoming ill, Cheryl instantly and selflessly gave of her time, while Marshall ensured that I received my medication. Meanwhile, Doug reached out to my twin sister and offered gentle words of support. Thank you my friends. However, it was time for me to bid farewell and complete my life’s journey. Therefore, I left this life on June 25, 2022 to join my family whom I loved and who loved me.
‘Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free,
I’m following the path God laid for me.’
