James Richard Crain, late of Muskoday, SK passed away on July 31, 2015, in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 80 years. James will be lovingly remembered by his children: Yvonne R. Ross of Pas, MB, Audrey Crain of Saskatoon, SK, Ron C. Crain of St. Paul, AB, Debra A. Crain of Vancouver, BC, Alfred A. Crain of Muskoday, SK, Joan (Brad) Bear of Muskoday, SK, Jean (Gary) Hill of Saskatoon, SK, Joe (Priscilla) Crain of Muskoday, SK, Philip J. Crain of Muskoday, SK, Rick (Latasha) Crain of Muskoday, SK and Tyson Crain of Saskatoon, SK; his 30 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; his brother: Elmer Bear of Muskoday, SK; his sisters: Julia Bear of Muskoday, SK, Florence Bear of Muskoday, SK, Hazel (Lionel) Lariviere of Muskoday, SK, Myrtle Crain of Muskoday, SK, Linda Caron of Muskoday, SK, and Beatrice (BJ) Sorenson of Muskoday, SK; his brother-in-law: Thomas (Sheila) Knife of Ahtahkakoop, SK; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and adopted sons and daughters and god children. James was predeceased by his wife: Eliza Crain; his parents: Alec & Edna Crain; his brothers: Arthur Crain and Dwight Crain; his sisters: Mary Crain and Elsie Crain; his brothers-in-law: Charlie Knife, Edwin Knife, and Adam Knife; his grandparents: George & Louise Crain and Alfred & Aribella Umpherville; A Wake will be commencing Monday, August 3, 2015 – 7:00 pm, and Tuesday, August 4, 2015 – 7:00 pm, Muskoday Band Hall, Muskoday First Nation, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 – 2:00 pm, St. James Anglican Church, Muskoday First Nation, SK, with Rev. Chris Dow and Rev. Wilfred Sanderson officiating.
