It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James “Jimmy” Beardall, beloved husband of Liliane Beardall, on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the age of 95 years. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his family; his loving wife Liliane (nee Bernier); his twin daughters Marilyn Foster and Maureen (Ben) Kristian; his grandchildren Kimberly Macsymic (Blair Wagner), Wendy (Richard) Grimard and Curtis (Susan) Kristian; his great-grandchildren Connor (Jess), Keenan Lang: Tanner, Brayden, Makaila Grimard; Hailey and Lindsey Kristian; his brother-in-law Wes Fisher; special family member Ed (Jean) Caron as well as nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Rhoda (nee Peacock) Beardall; his brothers Bobby and Ken (Irene); his sisters Bernice Stewart and Kay Fisher. James was born on November 10, 1919 in Melfort, SK and moved with his family to Prince Albert in 1938. James and Liliane were married on June 13, 1942 in Picton, Ontario and spent 73 wonderful years together. At the time of their marriage James was with the RCAF and they spent the beginning of their marriage in Ontario. They returned to Prince Albert and on March 15, 1943 they were blessed with identical twin daughters Marilyn and Maureen. James and Liliane made their home in Prince Albert to raise their family and James started his lifelong career with CN Rail from which he retired in 1977, after 30 years of service. Over the course of their lives together they made many wonderful memories with their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whether it be stories of his fishing days, travel adventures with Liliane or simply being there with them for weddings, birthdays and life in general. He had a soft spot for animals, especially his dog Alfie and loved to bird watch. His family gave him his greatest joy and was to him his greatest accomplishment. Grampa Jim was the life of the party; he had a joke for every occasion (appropriate or not), and a candy or two for everyone. All those he met and knew will never forget him. Till we meet again, may he rest in the peaceful thereafter. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 30 from River Park Memorial Chapel. Sr. Renėe Buliard will officiate. Interment will take place in the Garden of the Last Supper, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of RIVER PARK MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Prince Albert, 306-764-2727, Donald M. Moriarty, Funeral Director
