Jaden Crookedneck

With heavy hearts, the family of Jaden Clarke Crookedneck, late of Big River First Nation, announce his sudden passing on January 2, 2021, at the age of 17 years. 

Jaden was born on October 18, 2003, to Sonia Rabbitskin and Milton Crookedneck in Prince Albert, SK.

Private Wake and Funeral Services will be held for Jaden at the Big River First Nation Band Hall and he will be laid to rest in the Whitefish Anglican Cemetery. Jaden “Cheech” Clarke Crookedneck is lovingly survived by his parents: Sonia Rabbitskin and Milton Crookedneck; his special friend: Danayla Dreaver and son, Andre;
his siblings: Latoya Thomas, Courtney Thomas, Lynelle Keenatch, Kailene Crookedneck, Kaleb (Chanel) Crookedneck, Shayna Crookedneck, Layna “Baugus” Thomas; his grandparents: Hazel Angus, Alvina Rabbitskin, Sam Rabbitskin; his God-parents: Audrey (Leon) Rabbitskin; his aunts and uncles: Molina, Elton, William, Tyler (Kody), Samantha (Ryan), Amy (Travis), Joey, Nancy, Audrey (Leon), Candace, Amanda, Samantha (Josh), Dustin, Todd, Jesse, Francis (Wendy) Tiffany (Tristan), Marina; aswell as numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends. Jayden is predeceased by his sister: Shayna Jade Crookedneck and 3 other angel babies; his grandfathers: Francis Crookedneck, Johnny Angus; his great grandparents: Mel and Nancy Joseph, Joseph and Maria Lachance, Francis Rabbitskin, Madeline Rabbitskin; his aunts and uncles: Marlena Crookedneck, Alberta Angus, Dylan Lachance, and Justin Lachance.
The Honorary Pallbearers for Jaden’s service will be, David Lachance, Clarance Bear, Carmen Lachance, Bryce McAdam, Rolland Rabbitskin, Kenith Lachance, Coby Bill, Antony Bear, Thatcher Wuttunee, Tyrone Rabbitskin, Tunder Bear, Micheal Rabbitskin, Jordon Rabbitskin, Jerome Joseph, Keenan Lachance, David Rabbitskin, Syon Lachance, John Dreaver, Shanelle Netmaker, Storm Bear, and all who knew and loved him. The active pallbearers will be Good Spirit Bear,  Trevor Keenatch,  Micheal Crookedneck, Adrian Joseph, Clifford Bear,  Damen Thomas.
