Jacqueline “Jackie” Mae Halcro of Prince Albert, SK, was born June 8, 1978, to Raymond and Judy Halcro, she passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025.
Jackie grew up in rural Prince Albert, attending Wild Rose Elementary School and graduating from Carlton High School in 2000. She loved attending school and built long lasting bonds with her teachers and fellow classmates. After graduation Jackie was employed at KIN Enterprises in Prince Albert. She took great pride in her work and enjoyed telling her friends and family about what she was working on that day or week. Jackie was considered a faithful employee right up until her passing. She had a strong love for the Prince Albert Raiders and had season tickets for several years, always having a favourite player and would yell from her seat if they weren’t playing to her expectations! Due to Jackie’s health concerns, in 2023 she moved to Mont St. Joseph Home in Prince Albert, where she lived and built bonds with the staff and residents. Jackie would always let you know if you were on her good list or her bad list with just a look and smile, or a look away, and always had a favorite person – but that could change day to day and minute to minute, which she thought was funny, “My Favorite” were her words. Jackie loved road trips, especially if they included hotel stays, and had a strong love for animals, especially dogs, picnics, family gatherings and telling stories.
Jackie is survived by her father, Raymond Halcro; her brother, Gary Halcro; her aunts and uncles, Bill (Sharon) Halcro, Terry (Karen) Halcro, Janet Carriere, Lawrence Walsh, Kevin (Kathy) Walsh and Claire Walsh. Jackie will also be missed by her nieces and numerous cousins.
Jackie is predeceased by her mother, Judy; her grandparents, Bert and Shirley Walsh, Willie and Lena Gagne; and her uncles, Frank Carriere and Matt Gagne.
A Celebration of Jackie’s Life will be held at a later date.
