JACOB RODERICK ROSS

Jacob Roderick Ross was born on Saturday, August 25, 1945, in Bigstone Landing, SK, and passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016, in La Ronge, SK, at the age of 70 years. Jacob is survived by his loving family, his wife, Caroline Freda Ross, his daughter, Gloria Ross (Kenny Roberts) and their children, Bernadine, Joe, Harry, Beverly and Jerralee, his son, Daniel (Kelly) Ross, and their son, Dillon, his nieces and nephews, Mary Ann Ross, Jonas Ross, Harriet Ross, Bob Ross, Lorissa Ross, Virginia Ross, Caroline (Isaac) Charles, Roberts Ross, John Anthony Ross, Caroline Ross (Gerald Cook), Eliza (Adam) Charles, Kitchener Ross and Malcolm Ross, his sisters-in-law, Flora Ross and Isabel Halkett, and his brother-in-law, Kitchener Roberts, as well as numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his son, Roderick James Ross, his step-son, Paul Arcand, his parents, Zacharius and Catherine Ross, his sisters, Lottie (David) Ross, Polly (David) Roberts, Martha Ross and Elizabeth Ross, his brother, John Jeremiah Ross, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John James and Rose Marie Ross, and his brothers-in-law, Douglas Ross and Joe Ross. A wake service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Kitsaki Hall in La Ronge, SK, and continued at 12:00 noon on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at Charlie Halkett Memorial Hall in Hall Lake, SK. Jacob’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2016, at the Anglican Church in Hall Lake, SK, Reverend Richard Custer officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery in Hall Lake, SK.
