Irwin Heimbecker passed away peacefully at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, surrounded by his family, on Monday, April 20, 2015 at the age of 82 years. Irwin is survived by his children Gerald (Karen), Tracey (John), Sheri (Brian); his grandchildren Melanie Heimbecker, Jarrett Heimbecker, Karla Halcro (Shawn), Gerald Halcro, Catherine Hunter, Sarah Hunter; his great-granddaughter Autumn Trudel; his brothers Gordon (Vivian), Ernie (Jessie), Gary Laughren (the late Eldeen); his sister-in-law Mary; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Irwin was predeceased by his wife of 52 years Leona; his parents Romeo and Mary Heimbecker; his great-grandson Easton Vera; his brothers Dick (Isla), Edward (Rosemary), Ray, Ben (Isabella); his sister Edith (Bill). Irwin leaves a legacy of love, laughter and a lifetime of friendships with those who were fortunate to have known him. Rest in peace our brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and dear friend. At Irwin’s request the family will hold a private service at a later date. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Carla Jesso, Funeral Director.
