Irene Perlitz (nee Cowan) passed away peacefully at the Victoria Hospital on June 4th 2016.  Irene was born on July 26 1932 in Red Deer Hill.  She is survived by her children; Lorne (Judy) Perlitz, Marlene (Dan) Crowdis, Sherry (Phil Braybrook), Kevin Perlitz; grandchildren & great grandchildren; Shannon (Ryan) Dalke with Jayden, Layne, Jenna & Kayla, Bill Perlitz with Sara & Kaiden, Darrell (Raelene) Perlitz with Josh & Jenna, Darcy (Jennifer) Perlitz with Mickey, Dawson & Hudson, Tyler (Melissa) Barry with Holden & Hanna, Bradley Perlitz with Brylan, Taylor (Tannison) Bourque with Grayson, Shaun Bourque (Ashlan Gelowitz); numerous nieces and nephews.  Irene is predeceased by her parents; Bill and Catherine Cowan, her husband Bill Perlitz in 2004, a son Douglas in 1977, her brothers; Vern, George, Leonard & Lloyd; her sisters Maisie & Olive.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Dr. Acheampong, Dr. Oleksinski, Dr. Kappel & her team at the Chronic Kidney Disease Clinic, the staff of the ER, ICU & Palliative Care units at the Victoria Hospital.

With respect to Irene’s love of dogs (Koby & Jasper) we will ask for any memorial donation to either the Prince Albert’s SPCA or the Kidney Foundation. A private family service will be held Thursday at 1:30 at Memorial Gardens.  Funeral arrangements are entrusted to River Park Funeral Home.
