Irene passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital on the morning of April 20, 2026.

Irene was born on July 22, 1955, in Prince Albert, SK. She grew up on the family farm north of Christopher Lake, SK, in the Beaton district. She took her elementary schooling at Christopher Lake, and High School in Prince Albert. Her mother left when Irene was 10 and she took over the household duties. After high school she moved to Edmonton, AB, and worked in food service

Irene and Lyle were married in 1994. Irene worked at many restaurants in Prince Albert and spent several years working at Rivier Academy before retiring.

Irene is survived by her husband, Lyle; stepdaughter, Tracy (Joel Wispinski) and daughter, Kelsy of Brandon, MB; stepdaughter, Ann (Len Bilyk) of Penhold, AB; son, Wayne of Alberta; brother, Leonard (Marlene) Beal of Christopher Lake, SK; sisters, Pat Renas, Alice (Lonny) Horachek, and Marion Paradis, all of Prince Albert, SK; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents, William and Phyllis Beal; parents-in-law, Alden and Irene Millard, sister, Shirley Sumners; and brothers-in-law, Lonny Renas, George Millard, Cliff Sumners, and Ray Paradis.

No funeral service will be held at this time. A Gathering will be held at a later date to remember Irene.

The family would like to thank Dr. Narothum, Dr Bensaleh, and the nurses and staff at the Victoria Hospital 6^th floor. Also Dr. M. el Deb, Jen, Dr. Sarah-Mary Shenouda, and Hannah Temple for all your help and support over the years.
