IDA STUDER
Ida Studer (née Parent) of La Ronge, SK was born on February 25, 1930 in Hoey, SK. She passed away peacefully at the La Ronge Hospital on Tuesday, March 5, 2013. Ida married Vern Studer in Prince Albert, SK on October 25 1952. Together they raised eight children Duane, Darlene, Randy, Mark, Lynn, Lorie, Joylene and Carol. One of Ida’s greatest joys was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ida loved trips and travelling with her husband, visiting family and friends and spending time at their own piece of paradise, at the camp at Sulphide Lake. Ida was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Judy Studer; her parents Octave and Mary (née Surprenant); her brothers and sisters Leon, Edward and Gilbert Parent, Rose Studer, Claire Zurowski, Blanche and Bertha LeFrancois, Isabelle Boucher, Germaine Kovisto. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9 from St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church in La Ronge. Interment will take place at a later date.
