Howard Krygier passed away unexpectedly at his home in Prince Albert, SK on November 20, 2019 in his 67th year.
Howard was born March 10, 1952 in Montreal, QC as the second child, and only boy, to his beloved parents Jack and Edith, who predeceased him.
He loved his family so very, very much. Left to mourn are his loving wife, Cathy Sanderson; sisters, Vivien and Lonia; children, Jacqueline, Glenna, Rachelle, step-daughter Katelyn; as well as five beautiful grandchildren, Dahlia, Ava, Azalea, Kohen and Kinsley.
Howard was a wonderful, warm, loving man with a kind and generous soul. He represented a set of values of a different generation and had a genuine respect for others, a special bond with animals and was always fiercely proud of his Jewish heritage.
Howard was a true “Salesman’s – Salesman”. Like his father before him, he was the quintessential “Travelling Salesman”, which by today’s standard, is virtually a lost art and he represented that craft with a Rembrandt like quality. He was always at his finest when face to face with a treasured customer. On the night before his untimely passing, he had just returned from yet another road trip with his company Howard’s Fish & Fine Foods. Cathy, Katelyn and Rachelle have many years of shared memories of their sales trips together with Howard throughout the Prairies.
Howard frequently expressed his deep gratitude to his little sister Lonia, brother-in-law Harry and older sister Vivien, for their unselfish efforts, in a managerial aspect assisting his business. It afforded him the opportunity to continue to do what he loved to do… until his very last day.
The moment he met Cathy, they were instant soulmates, and regardless of the challenges, trials and tribulations that faced them, they faced them together, never leaving each other’s side for over 20 years.
He suffered numerous health complications during the last few years…his pain is take away and he is now at peace. God bless his soul.
Public Visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, November 28, 2019, at Beau “Lac” Funeral Home, 300B 300 Marquis Road West, Prince Albert, SK.
