Henry Rudoph Larsen

It is with sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Henry Rudolph Larsen on November 16, 2010 at the Victoria Hospital surrounded by love. Henry was born September 10, 1931 in Melfort, SK. He met Reta in 1952 at a dance and they were married on June 29, 1957. He worked as a mechanic at Anderson Motors, but most of his career was at Department of Highways from where he retired in 1992. He enjoyed his horses and camping, also looked forward to visits from friends, family and especially time spent with the grandchildren. Left to mourn his passing, his two sons David of Saskatoon and Ken (Sheri) of Prince Albert; his five grandchildren Jessica, Robyn and Nathan of Saskatoon and Amanda and Brittany of Prince Albert; his brother Thomas Larsen of Edmonton; special family friends Edgar Reichle and Paulette (Roy) Olexyn of Prince Albert; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Reta Larsen; his parents Emile Einer and Karen Cerina Larsen and his brother Arnie Larsen. A Celebration of Life will commence at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 21, 2010 in the Tee Room at the Prince Albert Golf and Curling Club, 900 – 22nd Street East, Prince Albert, SK. In lieu of other tributes, memorial contributions may be made to the Lung Association of Saskatchewan, 1231 – 8th Street East, Saskatoon, SK S7H 0S5.
