Henry Sandy Charles was born on Tuesday, November 6, 1951 in Potato Lake, SK and passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017 in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 65 years. Henry is survived by his loving family: his companion, Hilda Bird; his sisters and brothers, Caroline McKenzie, Hector Charles, John Charles, Georgina Charles, Allan Charles, Elizabeth (Roland) Bell and Nancy Charles; his special niece, Irene Charles; and his god-children, Aaron McKenzie and Syletta Charles; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Nora (nee McKenzie) Charles; his sisters, Betsy Clarke, Sarah Charles and Irene Charles; his brothers, Phillip Charles and Anthony Charles; his brother-in-law, George Clarke; his sister-in-law, Susan Charles; his uncles, Albert McKenzie, Julius Charles and Norman Charles; his aunts, Rosie McKenzie and Mary (Henry) Custer; his nieces, Rose Charles and Caroline Charles; and his cousin, Julius McKenzie; as well as numerous other relatives. A wake service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Kitsaki Hall in La Ronge, SK. Henry’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at All Saints Anglican Church in La Ronge, SK, Bishop Adam Halkett officiating. Interment to follow at La Ronge Anglican Church Cemetery.
