Henning Rasmussen

Henning passed away on March 20, 2011 at home. He was born December 12, 1924 in Bornholm, Denmark, an island with an agriculture background. He immigrated to Canada in 1948 to a farm in Somme, SK. Henning was there for several years working the farm in the summer and the north country during the winters. This is when he developed his love for the north. This love eventually brought him to Prince Albert, where he worked in the construction industry, eventually setting up his own business, which he ran until June of 2010. Henning loved to spend his spare time hunting, fishing, golfing, and going for coffee breaks with friends. Henning is survived by his brother Kofoed Kaj of Denmark; his sister Greta Jensen of Denmark and niece Lolita of Denmark. He was predeceased by his parents and one brother.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 683 – 7th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Mr. Paul Depeel officiating.
