With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Helen Chyz, beloved wife of Eugene, on May 26 , 2024 at the age of 89. Helen leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memory, her son Richard Chyz (Cheryl), her son David Chyz (Sharon), her daughter Carol Fisher (Teal), her sister Olga Crocker, her sister-in-law Patricia Romanchuk; her grandchildren: Crystal Bernier (Marcel), Heather Sander (Brendan), Kimberly Glazer (Brett), Christopher Chyz (Jen), Mackenzie Fisher, Madison Fisher, Matthew Fisher; her great grandchildren: Austin and Ryder Bernier, Zoe and Reid Sander, Marek and Alyza Glazer, Dylan and Nate Chyz. As well as several nieces nephews, relatives and friends. Helen was predeceased by her parents John & Fruzyna Doktor, her husband Eugene in 2021, her brothers-in-law, Charles Crocker, John Romanchuk and Steve Chyz. The Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Tway, SK on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Andrei Kachur officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Paraskewia Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Tway, SK. Donations in memory of Helen may be directed to Sts Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church or to the St. Paraskewia Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
