Hector Henry Bird – October 19, 1927 – August 1, 2015

Hector Henry Bird, late of La Ronge, SK, passed away on August 1, 2015 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 87 years. Hector will be lovingly remembered by his wife: Virginia (nee Bradfield); his children: Virginia Charles, Norma (Les Keigley) Bird, Cathy (Ray McKenzie) Young, Allan (Bella) Bradfield, Hector (Kathy) Bird, Tommy G. Bird, and Teco (April) Bird; his special granddaughters: Charmaine (Jamie), Rachel (Moses), Nikki-Jo, Candace (Lonnie), Roxanne (Scotty), Jen (Junior), Lana, Vanessa, Rachel, and Chantelle; his special grandsons: Gil-Ryan (Denise), David (Shirley), Edwin (Brittney), Donny (Janet), Kenny (Michelle), Andrew (Giselle), and Gerald; his 11 special great-grandsons and 15 special great-granddaughters; his sister: Annie (Dan) Gromley; his brothers-in-law: Roy Williston and Ben Bradfield; his sisters-in-law: Irene Bojanowski and Norma Mercredi; his nieces: Annie, Jemima, Gloria, and Catherine; and his nephews: Tom, Myles, Hector, Don, and Glen. Hector was predeceased by his parents: George & Georgina Bird; his daughter: Alice Georgina Bird; his sisters: Hanna Mary, Nancy, Cora, Theresa, and Rachel; his brother: Tommy Bird; his grandchild: Brent (BJ); his great-grandchild: Tiara Sage Caisse; and his son-in-law: Harvey Young. Wake Service will be commencing Tuesday, August 4, 2015 – 5:00 pm, Jonas Roberts Memorial Hall, La Ronge, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 – 11:00 am, All Saints Anglican Church, La Ronge, SK with Morris McKenzie officiating. Interment to follow in the Lac La Ronge Anglican Church Cemetery.
