Hazel Acorn

It is with sad hearts, we the family of Hazel Acorn, who passed away quietly at home, say our last goodbyes.
She is survived by her children: Larry (Cathie), daughter in- law Ha Kim, daughter Lorna (Wayne Beeching) and Wayne (Debbie).
Her brother William Morris (Patti), sisters: Ellen Tarasiuk, Isobel Riddel. Sister in-law Audrey Spencer, brother in-law Jack Long. Numerous neices and nephews
Grandchildren: Lyle Acorn, Valerie (Jamie) Lowes, Darrel (Anna) Beeching, Clarence (Cindy)Beeching and David Beeching. Hans Acorn, Kim (Brandy ) Parenteau, Brad (Tanya) Parenteau and Melissa (Mike) Parenteau.
Greatgrandchildren, Layne, James, and Bryce Lowes, Cyann, Ryder John, Elliot, Everett and Bryceson Beeching, and Ory, Ewyn, Kelsey, Mya, Niaomi, Payton, Jaden, Cole, Leland and Lucas Parenteau.
Hazel was predeceased by her parents, Ray and Rena Morris, her in-laws, William and Elizabeth Acorn, sisters in-laws Edna Acorn, Doris Acorn, Blanche Bibby, Gladys Avery, Melba Acorn Brother in-laws, Wilfred Acorn, Wesley Acorn, Arnold Acorn, Edward bibby, James Spencer, Jack Riddel. Sister Joyce Long.
Her husband William Edgar Acorn, grandaughter Meranda Parenteau, and her son Wilfred Lorne Acorn.
Hazel worked as an operator with Sask tel for many years, and then the Vic hospital in admitting and switchboard until her retirement.
She married Edgar in April 1955, and in March 1956 Larry William joined the family. Folowed by Wilfred Lorne in 1958, daughter Lorna Marion agnes joined the family in September 1960 and youngast son Wayne Edward completed the family in march 1963.
Hazel enjoyed coming out to the farm to work in the garden with Debbie, and always grew too much. She loved to keep us all informed of family and friends. What we were doing, what our familes were up to, and kept track of everyone’s health and well being.
The family would like to thank, her good friends and neighbours, who checked in on her frequently, John, Pauline, and Doug and Jean Chow.
In lieu of flowers a Donations may be made to the Donor’ choice.
Celebrating Hazel’s life, Friday, February 12, 2016 1 p.m Calvary United Church, 114 25 St. E Prince Albert Reverend Nora Vedress officiating.
