Harvey Cochet
1953 ~ 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Harvey Edward Cochet, who peacefully passed away in his sleep on March 11, 2025, at the age of 71. Harvey was born on November 27, 1953, in Birch Hills, SK.

Harvey is survived by his loving family, his beloved wife, Lorraine, with whom he shared 52 wonderful years; their children, Chad (Cindy) Cochet and Corrie (Dale) Skibicki; grandchildren, Justin (Brittany), Jordyn, and Brody; and his cherished great-grandchildren, Barrett, Addison, Ainsley, and Madison; his brothers, Dale (Brenda), Allan (Shirley), Blaine; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Harvey’s early years were spent working on the family farm, and he also worked for neighboring farms. After his marriage, he and Lorraine moved to Prince Albert, where Harvey worked for Coop for 18 years. He then spent another 15 years working at the Pen before retiring.

Harvey was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Lillian, his brother, Larry, and sisters-in-law, Joyce and Brenda.

A Funeral Service to honor Harvey will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at St. Joseph Parish at 260-25th Street E, Prince Albert, SK, with Father Maurice Fiolleau officiating. Interment will follow at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family kindly requests donations be made to Diabetes Canada, the Heart & Stroke Foundation, The Lung Association, or The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
