Harvey Alphonse Beatty, Traditional Name “Black Badger Man,” Kaskitiwi-Mistinask, was born on June 29, 1999, in La Ronge, SK, and passed away on December 13, 2021, in Regina, SK, at the age of 22 years.

Left to cherish Harvey’s memory are his traditional adopted family, Sally Beatty Sewap (mother), Leroy Robillard, Calene Muir, Ralph Beatty Jr. (Kelly), Elias Beatty, Loressa Beatty (Duane), Jade Beatty, Shelley Beatty (Kris), Emil Beatty, Kelly Ballantyne, Kelsey Linklater, Velma Linklater; his biological parents, Barbara Charles (mother), Henry Sewap (father); his best friend, Virginia Bird; his siblings, Justine, Felicity, Natelie, Delora, Racheal, Hunter, Hauk, Henry Jr., Ivan, Kyrell; his great-grandparents, Elias & Suzette Sewap, Tommy Robillard; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles and many other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his loving father, Ralph Beatty; his grandparents, Harvey Ballantyne, Marlene Charles-Roberts, John & Lena (Thomas) Sewap; his great-grandparents, Noah & Annie Charles, Agnes Ballantyne; his biological siblings, Jarica Ballantyne, Janita Ballantyne, Harrison, Jocelyn, Henderson, Infant Brother Colton.

The Prayer Service for Harvey will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Margaret Ferchuk officiating. The Wake Services will be held the evening of Thursday, December 23, 2021, at the home of Jade Beatty, in Pelican Narrows, SK; and the evening of Friday, December 24, 2021, at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, in Deschambault Lake, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Saturday, December 25, 2021, at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, in Deschambault Lake, SK, with Jonathan Ballantyne officiating.
