Ayling Harvey Stuhr
1924 – 2012
Harvey Stuhr passed away on July 24, 2012 at the Herb Bassett Home in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 88 after prolonged illness. Harvey was born March 25, 1924 in Regina, SK to Erwin H. Stuhr and Mary Jean née McGirr. Harvey will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years Lorna; his two sons, Erwin (Tamara) Stuhr of Markham ON and Andrew Stuhr of Saskatoon; three grandchildren, Alexandra, Levi, and Dylan and his nieces Gloria (Gary) Simpson and Rhonda Hastings. Harvey was predeceased by his parents Erwin Stuhr and Mary Jean nee McGirr. Harvey served in the RCAF and in the Air Reserve and was a Business Representative of SaskPower until his retirement in 1983. Harvey was a past member of the Kinsmen/K-40 and Prince Albert Curling Club. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at the Royal Canadian Legion Auditorium, Prince Albert Branch, 133 – 8th Street East, with Pastor Dennis Serfas, Director Spiritual Care, Prince Albert Parkland Health Region officiating. Private Family Interment will be held. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to Herb Bassett Home (Lakeland Trail) c/o Victoria Hospital Foundation, 1200 – 24th Street West, Prince Albert, SK S6V 5T4.
