With profound sorrow we announce the passing of Harry on April 8, 2019 at the age of 90 years, after a brief battle with cancer.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Elaine “Bunny”; and his eldest son, Garry and his girlfriend Agnes, both of Vancouver.
Harry was predeceased by his youngest son, Dale; and his parents, Chester and Mary Tatlow of Prince Albert.
He was born in Melfort, and eight years later the family moved to Prince Albert. His schooling was at Queen Mary School and PACI. He spent one year at the Bank of Commerce before joining Sask Power Corp as a lineman. He spent 35 years with SPC and was Charge District Operator when he retired.
Harry enjoyed retirement immensely, riding his motorcycle with Bunny, holidaying in the USA and many short trips in Saskatchewan with a large group of motorcycle buddies.
Harry loved life, his family, his friends, dancing, music, motorcycles, reading, joking with everyone and volunteering with the Canadian Cancer Society. Almost every person he met became his friend and he remembered everyone’s name.
Our heartfelt thank you for all the beautiful flowers, visits, food, phone calls, cards and many hugs.
It was Harry’s wish that no formal service be held.
