Harry Roberts was born on Sunday, August 7, 1932, in Stanley Mission, SK, and passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016, in La Ronge, SK, at the age of 84 years. Harry is survived by his loving family, his daughters Patsy (Ray) Head, Bella (Allen) Bradfield, Josie Roberts and Caroline (Rudy) Mirasty, his sons William Roberts, Noman Roberts, Sam (Sally) Roberts and Donny Roberts, his 31 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, his sister Margaret (A.J.) Carlson, his brother Douglas (Margaret) McLeod, and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Amelia Sanderson and Noah Bird. He was predeceased by his wife, Nancy Lydia (nee Bird) Roberts, his daughter Delia Roberts in infancy, his sons Jonas Clarke Roberts and Moses Fisher Roberts, his grandsons Todd Roberts and Bryan Kinch, his great-grandchildren Connor Roberts, Elsie Roberts and Baby Boy Kinch, his parents Mary (nee McLeod) and Norman Roberts, his brothers Sampson (Susan) Roberts, George (Sally) Roberts, Charlie (Jean) Roberts, Annie Roberts and Zacheus (Matilda) Roberts, his mother-in-law and father-in-law Walter and Annie (nee Sanderson) Bird, his son-in-law John Kinch, his daughter-in-law Lucille Creighton, his sister Delia (Paul) Jacobson, and his in-laws Colin & Catherine Charles, Moses & Mary Bird, Miles & Mary Venne, Edgar & Ida Venne, Charlie & Angelique Halkett, Thompson & Nora Venne, George & Flora Venne, Maggie Bird and Sampson Sanderson. A wake service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at JRMC Hall in La Ronge, SK. Harry’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at the All Saints Anglican Church in La Ronge, SK, Reverend Richard Custer officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery in La Ronge, SK.
