Harlan Blaine Sabraw
Posted Apr 3, 2025 | 3:50 PM
The last few years have been a struggle with multiple surgeries and hospital stays. On the evening of April 1, 2025, Harlan passed away peacefully. Just the way he lived his life – ‘on his own terms’.
We would like to thank St. Paul’s Palliative Care Unit, doctors, nurses, and support staff for the excellent care and compassion for Harlan during these difficult times.
Harlan didn’t want a funeral, instead in honor of his memory, have a drink and sit around a kitchen table or by a fire (a tailgate would do in a pinch as well), eat good food, and tell good stories (add a dirty joke or two) with your family and friends around you.
Harlan is lovingly remembered by his loving wife Fran; daughter Vanessa (Joe) Desrosiers and grandchildren Adalee and Jayden; son Cole Sabraw; daughter Reece Sabraw (Taylor); son Blaine ‘Buck’ Sabraw (Delayne Aiken); 11 brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother Gladys; father Joe; brother Dave; and sister Gloria.
In lieu of tributes, donations may be made in memory of Harlan to the Boreal Healthcare Foundation Dialysis Unit (2345 10th Ave West, Unit 206, Prince Albert, SK S6V 5T4).
Family and friends wishing to send online condolences are welcome to visit www.beaulacfuneralhome.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Beau “Lac” Funeral Home and Crematorium, Tammy Smart, Funeral Director, Shellbrook, SK 306-747-2828.
