Custer, Mathew Custer, Michael Custer, Simon Custer; his sisters, Maggie (Alex) McCallum, Susan (Adolph) McCallum, Florence (Philip) Ballantyne, Katie Custer, Alena Custer, Madelaine Custer, Sophie Custer, Barbara Ballantyne; his best friends, Ovide Linklater, Tad Dorion; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; his sisters-in-law, Sally Bear, Florence (Robert) Thomas.

He was predeceased by his parents, Zacheus Ballantyne, Elizabeth Sewap; his wife, Linda Ballantyne; his son, Solomon Jr. Ballantyne; his grandson, Quentin Ballantyne; his siblings, Simeon Ballantyne, Myles Sewap, Absalom Custer, Henry Custer, George Custer, Myrtle Roberts; his uncles, Daniel Ballantyne, 2 unknown; his aunties, Elizabeth Sewap, Alice Ballantyne; his sister-in-law, Lydia M. Custer.

The Prayer Service for Solomon will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK. The Wake Services will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, and Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at the St. Bartholomew Anglican Church, in Pelican Narrows, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at the St. Bartholomew Anglican Church, in Pelican Narrows, SK, with Rev. Elaine Bear & Rev. Richard Custer officiating. Interment to follow at Moise Bear Memorial Gardens, in Pelican Narrows, SK.
