Gordy is survived by his loving family, his children, Trezleigh Sanderson, Tala Napope, Talon Napope (Shyanne Sanderson), Lelani Napope-Elderkin (Kelli Elderkin); his special friend, Elishia Bloomfield; his siblings, Jonathan Napope, Jordana Napope, Christie Napope,Vern Jr. Ermine, Scott Ermine, Shannon Starblanket; his friends, Darren Laviolette, James Britian, Tyrone Grimard, Dalton Walker, John Shady Laviolette, Deshawn Laviolette, Tyrell “Villy” Lilleneuve, Ryder “Lance” McAdam, Leo McAdam,  Shane “Shiine” Whitehead, Logan Gunn, Jarrett Naytowhow, Gilbert Ballantyne, Brandon McDonald, Jan-Micheal Xavier Cyr.

He was predeceased by his mother, Joanne April Napope; his sister & brother, Brittany Ermine, Troy Cecil Napope; his grandparents, Lorna Napope & Clifford Bighead; his great-grandparents, Gordon Bighead & Christie Bighead.

The Prayer Service for Gordon will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Margaret Ferchuk officiating. The Wake Services will be held at 5:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at the Sturgeon Lake Band Hall, in Sturgeon Lake First Nation, SK; and at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, May 29, 2026, at the Beardy’s Band Hall, in Beardy’s & Okemasis’ Cree Nation, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at, Beardy’s Band Hall, in Beardy’s & Okemasis’ Cree Nation, SK. Interment to follow at Beardy’s & Okemasis’ Cemetery, in Beardy’s & Okemasis’ Cree Nation, SK.
